Isabel Idibia, teenage daughter of Nigerian music star 2Baba and actress Annie Idibia, has opened up about how her parents’ separation affected her.
Isabel made the disclosure on Friday during an interview with Yanga FM, where she responded to questions about the effect of the family crisis on her.
The young actress acknowledged that her parents’ separation had a negative impact on her but noted that she was gradually adjusting to the situation.
Asked whether the separation between her parents had affected her, Isabel responded in Pidgin English, saying, “I mean obviously yes, but things are getting better day by day.”
Her comment comes months after 2Baba announced his separation from Annie Idibia in February 2025.
The development attracted considerable public attention, particularly because of the couple’s long-standing relationship and family life.
