The Abia State Government has donated two brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS) to strengthen their operations and improve the protection of lives and property across the state.

The vehicles were presented to the two agencies on behalf of Governor Alex Otti by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security Matters, Navy Commander MacDonald Ubah (rtd.).

Ubah said the donation was part of the Governor’s commitment to supporting security and other critical government agencies operating in Abia.

According to him, Governor Otti had earlier promised to provide operational vehicles to both the FRSC and NCS, as well as repair some existing vehicles in their fleets.
