The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the activation of its online portal for the recruitment of ad-hoc personnel for the 2027 General Election.
According to the Commission, the INECPRES portal was activated on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., and applications will close on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at midnight.
Interested and eligible Nigerians are required to submit their applications online through INEC’s official website and the INECPRES platform.
The web version of the application is available through the INECPRES portal, while applicants using Android devices can access the mobile application provided by the Commission.
INEC’s official portal currently confirms that the 2027 ad-hoc staff recruitment is active and lists positions including Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs), Presiding Officers (POs), Assistant Presiding Officers (APOs), RAC Managers and Registration Area Technical Support (RATECH) personnel.
Applicants are advised to carefully review the eligibility requirements and use valid personal information when registering.
The 2027 General Election is scheduled to begin with the Presidential and National Assembly elections in February 2027.
