Kenyan President William Ruto has expressed his condolences to Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan following the death of her husband, Hafidh Ameir Hassan.
Ruto, in a message shared on his official X account on Monday, described the death as a painful loss and extended his sympathy to President Samia, her family and the people of Tanzania.
“I have received with deep sorrow the news of the passing of Hafidh Ameir Hassan, husband of Her Excellency Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania,” Ruto said.
