The Taraba State Government has stepped up monitoring of secondary schools across the state, warning teachers and school administrators against absenteeism, lateness, poor lesson preparation and insubordination.

The monitoring exercise was conducted on Tuesday by teams from the Ministry of Secondary, Technical and Vocational Education, led by the Commissioner, Dr. Augustina Godwin, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Idris A. Goje, and the Ministry’s Secretary, Mrs. Rabi Sunday.

According to the Commissioner, the exercise was designed to assess teachers’ attendance, lesson preparation and delivery, students’ academic activities, school administration and compliance with government directives following the resumption of schools.
