Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, has reaffirmed the state’s unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Radda made the declaration on Sunday in Katsina, assuring President Tinubu that the people of the state would back his bid for a second term.
The governor described Katsina as a strong APC state, noting that all elected political office holders in the state belong to the ruling party.
“Katsina State is an APC state. Every elected person in Katsina State is a member of the All Progressives Congress, and I want to assure you that Katsina State has a special attachment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Radda said.
He further pledged the continued loyalty of the state to the President, saying, “Katsina State will continue to stand with you. We will support you, and our people will support you, Insha Allah.”
According to the governor, the APC has a well-established political structure across Katsina’s 34 local government areas and 361 wards, which he said would strengthen the party’s mobilisation ahead of the elections.
Radda also commended the reforms of the Tinubu administration, claiming that they had improved the financial resources available to state and local governments and created greater opportunities for investments in infrastructure and social services.
As the 2027 elections draw closer, the governor urged politicians and other stakeholders to engage citizens constructively and prioritise issues that would contribute to the country’s development.
