Brighton & Hove Albion have completed the signing of Nigeria international Femi Azeez from Millwall for an undisclosed transfer fee.
The 25-year-old winger has signed a four-year contract with the Premier League club after completing his move from the Sky Bet Championship side.
Brighton sporting director Mike Cave expressed his excitement over the arrival of the highly-rated attacker, praising Azeez’s impressive performances for Millwall during the 2025/26 season.
“We are delighted to add Femi to the squad. He arrives off the back of an excellent season with Millwall, having played a key role for them as they finished in the playoffs,” Cave said.
He added that Azeez was among the Championship’s most exciting attacking players and expressed the club’s anticipation of working with him.
Azeez enjoyed an outstanding 2025/26 campaign, earning places in both the PFA and EFL Championship Teams of the Season.
During his time with Millwall, he made 77 appearances across all competitions, scoring 15 goals and providing 13 assists.
His transfer to Brighton marks another significant step in a remarkable journey through the English football pyramid to the Premier League.
Azeez began his development in Watford’s youth system before moving into non-league football with Northwood. He later played for Wealdstone and Hanwell Town before joining Reading in 2019.
He continued his development at Reading before completing a move to Millwall in 2024.
The winger has also made a promising start to his international career with Nigeria. He scored twice on his Super Eagles debut against Zimbabwe in May, further enhancing his growing reputation.
Azeez will now look to build on his impressive rise as he begins a new chapter with Brighton in the Premier League.
