Galatasaray legend Fatih Terim has heaped praise on Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, insisting that the forward would be a perfect fit for any version of the Turkish giants.
Terim made the remarks on his YouTube channel while responding to a question about which Galatasaray team he would have preferred to feature Osimhen in.
According to the former Galatasaray manager, Osimhen is not the type of player who would only be needed on specific occasions but one who could strengthen the team at any time.
“A player like Victor Osimhen would suit any Galatasaray team,” Terim said, adding that he would want the Nigerian in any Galatasaray side.
Osimhen is currently recovering from a groin injury sustained during Galatasaray’s victory over Başakşehir earlier this month.
The 27-year-old is expected to return to action next weekend when Galatasaray take on Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig.
The injury has already forced Osimhen to miss Galatasaray’s Champions League defeat to Sporting Lisbon and their Super Lig victory over Kocaelispor on Sunday.
